What a trip! The first of many big road trips, and our first in our beast of a vehicle, our trusty 2018 LTZ Holden Colorado, wasn't it a whirl wind!

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Home to Port Adelaide

The first of many big stints in our drive to the Red Centre. Setting off in the early hours of the morning, we made our way past Boort, and towards Mildura. Three hours into our journey, it was unfortunate that a HUGE rock was flicked up at our windscreen, and shattered it, splintering all over out windscreen. In the rush of things, and being a Saturday, we now had to find somewhere to get our windscreen replaced! After calling every near windscreen replacement, the soonest we could get it replaced was on Monday morning in Adelaide. Which would put us behind by two days! I'm not one that loves sudden change but without any choice we had to make a detour towards Adelaide until our windscreen was fixed. We organised last minute accommodation, and off we went, onwards to our new destination for day one... ADELAIDE.
